The Red Lion

The Red Lion in Sapcote has legendary status among the locals - and for good reason! The pub itself is in a gorgeous location and is welcoming inside and out. It has a spacious and relaxing beer garden which is perfect for a summer pint but also a warm, cozy and clean interior where you can enjoy those cooler evenings.

The Red Lion has been part of the village fabric for many years and has retained its character but with a fresh and modern look. All in all, it's everything you'd expect and more!

Here's what the landlord has to say: "Since taking over The Red Lion in June, 2020, our aim has always been the same: to become the best family-run, family-friendly restaurant and pub in Leicestershire. We’ve introduced a fantastic menu to offer fresh, exciting food, from village pub classics like beer-battered cod to light, Mediterranean small plates like calamari.

We serve everyone with our core values close to heart, with a commitment to excellent customer service underpinning everything we do at our family-friendly restaurant and pub."
