We are offering free cycle hire for the first 100 people to hire a bike from Specialized to try out one of our new cycle routes.

Free Cycle Hire Promotion – Terms and Conditions

1. Promoter 
This promotion is offered by Visit Blaby District in partnership with Specialized (“the Promoter”).

2. Offer Details 
The Promoter is offering free cycle hire of a standard pedal bicycle (non-electric) to the first 100 eligible participants who hire a bike from the Specialized store at Everards Meadows and quote “Blaby Let’s Cycle” at the time of booking. 

3. Eligibility 
This offer is open to individuals aged 18 years or over. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Employees of the Promoter and Specialized, and their immediate families, are not eligible. 

4. Availability 
The offer is limited to the first 100 qualifying hires only and is available on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to availability of hire bikes on the day.

5. Promotion Period 
The promotion is valid until all 100 free hires have been redeemed. 

6. Redemption Process 
To redeem the offer, participants must call the Specialized store at Everards Meadows and quote “Blaby Let’s Cycle” when arranging their hire. Failure to quote the correct phrase may result in the offer not being applied. A £0.01 credit card payment will be taken for bike security reasons, customers will be refunded when the bike is returned. 

7. Additional Items 
Participants may receive a free water bottle and slap band as part of the promotion. These items are subject to availability and will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis while stocks last. No alternative or substitute items will be offered. 

8. Third-Party Hire Terms 
All cycle hire is provided by Specialized and is subject to their standard hire terms and conditions. Participants will be required to agree to these terms before hiring a bike. In the event of any conflict between these promotional Terms and Conditions and Specialized’s hire terms, Specialized’s hire terms shall take precedence in relation to the hire of the bike. 

9. Limitations 
Only one free hire per person. The offer applies to a single standard hire period of a non-electric bicycle only and does not include e-bikes, extensions, upgrades, accessories, or additional equipment unless stated otherwise. 

10. Non-Transferable 
The offer is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and no cash alternative will be provided. 

11. Liability 
Participants acknowledge that cycling carries inherent risks. The Promoter is not responsible for the provision, condition, or maintenance of the bikes, which are the responsibility of Specialized. The Promoter accepts no liability for any injury, loss, or damage arising from participation in this promotion, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law. 

12. Changes and Cancellation 
The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend, or withdraw this promotion at any time without prior notice where necessary. 

13. Governing Law 
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
