VE Day Celebrations in Braunstone Town
To commemorate VE Day Braunstone Town Council is hosting and supporting community events throughout the week.
Wartime Favourites with the Ratby Daytime Band - Weds 7th May
Taking place at 2pm at Millfield Hall, Braunstone Civic Centre.
Free concert, raffle, and retiring collection towards band funds and the Town Mayor's Charity - Prostate Cancer UK.
Commemorative Service - Thurs 8th May
Taking place at 10.45am at the Memorial Garden, Braunstone Civic Centre with the Town Mayor and Deputy Lord Lieutenant, followed by refreshments and cake.
Display on the VE Day original street parties - Thurs 8th-10th May
Taking place at Braunstone Civic Centre.
1940's Victory Tea Party - Fri 9th May
Taking place at 3pm - 5.30pm at Millfield Hall, Braunstone Civic Centre.
Victory Tea Party for all the family, £2 per adult, 50p for child.
