Bouskell Park Ice House Tours

17 May 2026
Ice House 2024

Bouskell Park has a rich history: once the site of a medieval village, and now home to a Grade II Listed Ice House, originally built in 1843 and restored to its former glory in 2021.

The tour includes a guided walk across Bouskell Park with information given about the archaeological features. You will then have an opportunity to look inside the Ice House and learn about how and when it was used.

Our complimentary activity trail for children runs alongside the tours, up to 4 children for free with one paying adult - Help our resident Fosse Fox Blar find his froggy friend by solving clues around the park. Complete the crossword to find froggy’s hiding place and reunite the parkland pals!

This year we have partnered with The Baker's Arms in Blaby to offer all tour attendees 10% off the lunch or bar menu. To take advantage of this offer please prebook your table by calling 0116 278 7253. You will receive a discount slip during the tour to redeem the offer.
