Route Details:

Distance: 7.6 miles or 12.2 kilometres

Transport: Use on street parking in LFE or use Arriva 153 or 158 services from Leicester, or use the Fox Connect Service. More details on transport around the district can be found in the colour panels at the bottom of the webpage.

On this urban-centred walk you will see how the 20th Century and modern engineering has shaped the district - from motorways to out-of-town shopping to the suburbanisation of Leicestershire. This walk is perfect for people who feel more comfortable walking near amenities and with plenty of places to shop or grab a drink nearby.
